Disclaimer
This page is Kongcang's formal disclaimer. By continuing to browse or use any content or tool on this site, you confirm that you've read and understood the terms below.
1. Educational use, not investment advice
All of the articles, calculators, charts and examples Kongcang provides are general educational and informational content, meant to help you understand the mechanics and risk of futures. They do not constitute, and should not be treated as, investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and are not tailored to any individual's financial situation or goals.
We don't predict prices, call trades, pick coins or promise any returns. Any trading or investment decision you make based on content here is entirely your own responsibility. Before deciding, consider consulting a qualified, independent professional.
2. The high-risk futures section (please read it through)
Crypto futures (perpetual futures, delivery futures and the like) are high-risk, high-volatility leveraged derivatives. Before taking part, you need to be clear on the following:
- Leverage amplifies moves in both directions. Leverage amplifies not just potential gains but losses just as much. The higher the leverage, the smaller the move against you needed to do serious damage.
- You can lose your entire principal. Unlike spot, your loss on futures can equal — and in some situations exceed — the margin you put in. Only ever use money you can afford to lose in full.
- Liquidation risk. When your margin falls below the platform's maintenance margin level, your position is forcibly closed, usually before you've "lost it all". Liquidation also comes with fees and slippage, so the actual loss can be larger than you expected.
- Bankruptcy risk. In extreme, violent markets, your loss can exceed your margin (a "bankruptcy"). Platforms generally handle this through an insurance fund or auto-deleveraging (ADL), with the specifics set by Gate's official rules — but the very existence of those mechanisms tells you how serious the risk is.
- Market and technical risk. Crypto markets trade around the clock and swing hard, and you can also hit sudden drops in liquidity, price wicks, and network or system delays — any of which can affect how your orders open and close.
- Regional compliance is on you. Different countries and regions treat the legal status and availability of crypto futures differently, and some prohibit or restrict such trading outright. Whether you may take part, and how, is for you to confirm and to bear the compliance responsibility for.
Restricted regions. Gate is not available in some countries and regions, and its rebate or affiliate programme may exclude certain regions too. Whether you can register, and whether you qualify for any fee discount, follows Gate's official terms — check before you sign up.
3. Accuracy and timeliness
We do our best to keep content accurate and note the point in time we verified against (currently June 2026). But platform rules, fees, leverage caps, maintenance margin rates, funding settlement intervals and so on in crypto change often. Wherever anything on this site disagrees with Gate's official pages, Gate's official pages are what count. This site makes no express or implied guarantee that its content is wholly accurate, complete or up to date.
4. Third-party links
This site contains links to third-party websites (including Gate and other reference sources), provided only for your convenience. We don't control the content, policies or availability of those sites and aren't responsible for them. Once you follow an external link, that site's own terms and policies apply.
5. Affiliate disclosure
To be honest with you: Kongcang is a promotional partner of Gate. When you sign up and trade through a link or invite code on this site, this site may receive a commission from Gate. That's one of the things that keeps the site running.
A few things to be clear about that relationship:
- This site may earn a commission. That is a commercial relationship we disclose; it does not mean Gate endorses this site's content.
- This site does not promise a discount. Whether one exists, its form, regional availability and eligibility follow the rules shown on Gate's official page when you register.
- The specific benefit and fees are whatever Gate says they are. The form, size and conditions of any discount are set by Gate and can change at any time; what counts is whatever Gate's official page shows when you register and trade. This site doesn't publish, or promise, any specific discount or commission percentage.
- This commercial relationship doesn't change how we treat risk. Earning a commission doesn't mean we soften our risk warnings — nothing about how this page and the whole site stress the high risk of futures is dialled back because of it.
This site has no official affiliation to Gate / Gate.com; final costs and any discount follow Gate's official page.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kongcang and its editorial team are not liable for any direct or indirect loss (including but not limited to trading losses) arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site's content, tools or links. By using this site, you accept this arrangement and take full responsibility for your own decisions and their outcomes.
7. Updates to these terms
We may update this disclaimer from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page and, where appropriate, logged in the corrections. This page was last updated in June 2026.
