Privacy policy

Kongcang is a content site, and we keep data collection to a minimum. This page explains, in line with the GDPR: whether we touch your data at all, which data, why, and what rights you have. Last updated June 2026.

Core principle: collect as little as possible

Kongcang doesn't require you to register or log in, and has no account system. We don't actively collect your name, ID documents, wallet address, private keys, seed phrase or any sensitive personal data. Anyone claiming to represent Kongcang while asking you for these is an impostor — see Contact us.

The limited data we may process

• Server access logs. As with most websites, our hosting may automatically record technical information when you visit — such as your IP address (usually truncated or anonymised), browser and device type, time of visit, and pages viewed. These logs are used to keep the site secure, troubleshoot problems and get a rough sense of traffic; we don't use them to identify you personally.
• Emails you send us. When you write to our email address, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use that only to reply to and handle your message, for no other purpose, and we don't sell it to any third party.

Cookies and analytics

Kongcang uses no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and doesn't sell your browsing behaviour to advertisers.

We do not load Google Analytics before you agree. Optional analytics starts only with your permission and is not used for personalized advertising. You can withdraw through Analytics settings at any time. Tool inputs are not submitted as analytics data.

Third parties: fonts and external links

• Google Fonts (third-party fonts). For typography, this site loads web fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). This means that when the fonts load, your browser makes a request to Google's servers, and Google may obtain technical information such as your IP address as a result; its handling is governed by Google's own privacy policy. If this concerns you, you can restrict such requests at the browser or network level.
• Links to Gate. This site contains promotional links and an invite code for Gate. Once you click through to Gate, your registration and trading on Gate are governed by Gate's own privacy policy and terms, not ours. See the disclaimer for the related disclosure.
• Other external reference links. Links in articles to Investopedia, the official Ethereum documentation, block explorers and the like are governed by those sites' policies once you follow them.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you're in a region covered by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or similar law, you generally have rights over personal data relating to you, including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and object to the processing of that data. Because the personal data we process is very limited (mainly the emails you choose to send us), you can exercise these rights at any time by writing to [email protected] — for example, asking us to delete a record of your earlier correspondence. We'll act on it within a reasonable time.

Data retention

We keep limited data only for as long as needed: technical server logs are rotated and cleared under our hosting provider's standard policy; your correspondence is deleted once the relevant matter is resolved and there's no need to keep it as a correction or compliance record.

Protection of minors

Futures trading is a high-risk financial activity for adults. The content on this site is not aimed at anyone under 18 (or the legal age of majority where you live), and we won't knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us by email and we'll delete it as soon as possible.

Policy updates

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any change will be reflected on this page and the "last updated" date at the top will be revised; significant changes may also be logged in the corrections. By continuing to use this site, you accept the updated policy.
