This is an approximate formula for isolated linear contracts (long ≈ entry price × (1 − 1/leverage + maintenance margin rate)). It leaves out fees, funding, and real slippage, and it doesn't account for how other positions affect things in cross margin. Real liquidation is based on the mark price and computed using Gate's maintenance-margin tier at the time, so it will differ from this. Treat Gate's order page and official rules as the source of truth.
